I am Paul,
a Mechatronics Engineer
and Data Scientist.

• Data Science and some data engineering in Microsoft Fabric.
• Earned the Microsoft DP-600 certification.

• Worked on analytics and data engineering solutions using Microsoft Fabric, primarily building ETL/ELT pipelines.
• This role was held during a transitional period in the company, after a restructuration i joined a broader team listed above.

Development of new technologies, evaluations, proofs of concept, and related tasks for technologies within the funcional discipline, such as Industrial IoT, automation solutions, data science, including deep learning modeling. Mostly for production and manufacturing data.

Former leader of the Electrical & Controls Discipline for the Latin America region. Together with other functional leaders, we formed the core of an office overseeing the annual CapEx project portfolio across 17 manufacturing plants. I was heavily involved in international projects, with an average travel rate of ~30%.

Computational Data Analysis track (Data Science and Machine learning oriented). Grade: 3.9 of 4.0

I teach an introductory graduate-level course on Deep Learning for a Master's in Industrial Design, covering core neural network architectures such as MLPs, CNNs, RNNs, and LSTMs, along with a high-level overview of GANs and Transformer models.
